So on the 29th of december I met debra and we went shopping and quite cunningly, I was unknowingly timed to go back home at a certain time. Debra said she'll come over to my place, so we went home and I saw a few familiar looking pair of shoes in the porch. Well I figured that I have friends over at my house but I didn't have the time to process whatever they might be doing, I excitedly ran up to my room, not knowing what to expect, and opened my door to see my room elaborately decorated with streamers, my bed filled with blown up (proudly by nat) red white and pink balloons, a happy birthday sign across the room, colourful mushroom stickers pasted on my mirror, jellyfish sitting at the side on a chair with bunches of stickers by it, party hats and disney princesses party plates on the table, and a cake with lighted candles right in the middle of all of it. The best part was seeing nat, andrea, miv and jo stream out from behind the wardrobe. Everything caught me by surprise, and the time and effort into planning this into making it the best birthday for me is just unexpectedly sweet of them! I Love You Guys!! And am happy to say that I have the best friends in the whole mongoloid world. Oh and did I mention that they gave me a 'Birthday Girl' Sash and a pink tiara with dangling mongolian-isque beads at the sides to wear, (the top of the tiara broke after that and it then became the perfect mongolian headdress), so yes I felt like a princess that day :) :) . So we had cake, pizza and sat around and ate for a bit and just when I thought all the surprises was over, I was sprayed with party streamers when the clock strike 12, and I officially became 17. Thanks Debra, Nat, Andrea, Mag, Mivio, Joanna for coming over and surprising me and being the sweetest friends, I am so touched  and Grace for dropping by! Thanks Guys for making this the best birthday ever, I can never say thank you enough, Love yall horny bitches!!

back from egypt!! ^^ Shall upload pictures another time, there's so many things to do before leaving again for cambodia. Egypt was cool, it was like going to this other world that I didn't know about. My shallow perception of egypt was just of its pyramids and sphinx, i didn't even think there would be much of a city there. But there was. The pyramids were just so magnificent and godlike and the history of egypt is overwhelming and they believe in so many gods, its hard to remember just the names of them all. I vaguely recall the myths of the gods isis/anubis/osiris? Cruising on the nile was one of the best ferry rides ever. You get to see so much of egypt. Not just deserts but of the farms and cattle and people. Egyptians are so friendly! But the market system is pretty much like china; they don't hv a fixed price so they just set you a price based on how foreign you look (nat/deb can pass off as one of their own w/o much difficulty). The bargaining gets tiring after awhile. Thank god there isn't much shopping to do there anyway. Unless you're into alabaster rock/papyrus paper/stones and dates, the whole time you're in the bazaar you'll just be wishing you won't get mugged. Food there wasn't as bad as expected. Turkey was much much much worse (the pine shit nut soup) yucks!! When we were in egypt we rode on camels/horses/trains/motorboats/sailboats/buses/ferry/horse carriages, everything, and the tour guide made some sick joke about how the only thing left to ride is riding people. Thats great (nobody laughed, in case you're wondering). The tombs are actually interesting, well, the first three were... at least up to the 2635972th tomb. Its crazy how the egyptians only care about their afterlife and nothing else, the whole eternal life theory and the worshipping and all. But its cool to hear the stories and see all the structures being dated as much as 4000yrs back. You don't hear about things going on in the B.C.s anywhere else!

| Holidays are so boring now that its here. During school days we'd go out like crazy and see everyone and go to parties and have hella fun. Now everyone's just leaving for trips and ocip and whatnots its sad :( I haven't seen deb/nat/andreahma for a week now? Soon I'll be leaving for my family vacation from 1st-10th Dec, then 12th to 20th Dec for OCIP in Cambodia  . Well, my mum seems to be more excited than I am about the OCIP, she has been buying things to give to those kids. One day I came home to find a bag full of pencils and crayons and pens in packets of 10 in my room, I thought it was my sisters' so i threw it in her room to hear her say 'That's what mummy bought you to give to the cambodian kids when you go there!' That's great, along with packets of candies and biscuits. I'm not complaining, cmon, at least it'll look like I'm charitable HEEHEE WHICH I AM. I'm still thinking about how I'm gna lug all the 'donations' there, plus trying to delay the vaccination for the trip for as long as possible. I Don't Wna Take A Jab!! Anw, Miv & Jo I'll see if i can make it for ACFF k! + all the best for your play on friday, you guys worked rlly hard, am sure it'll be great! We'll be there to support :)

Haven't been to a decent party in ages, the last one was the socialhouse party a month back? The halloween one so does not count!! Maybe this wed? This fri? Don't know. Orange Bowl in SN with Deb and Nat in the afternoon + sleeping over at Jiemin's house tomorrow! Can't wait. SN is finally gna be reconstructed, oh gosh, i hope they don't change it too much. The school is nice and huge and lovely and just so homely, I love the mornings spent at the roof gardens, assembly in the hall/ on the field, rushing down to the canteen for recess, Games Carnival and Sports day, CNY celebrations... Gosh. Miss it loads.

| Met Debmentor and Andreahma for dinner at shokudo just now. Ordered way too much for our own good, loved the pizza though :) Pw meeting was horrible today, the stupid devil just picked on everything I did. I hate her. I'm so glad I don't have to see her next year anymore ^^
Halloween was sorta fun, running around the damp roads of bukit timah and yelling 'trick or treat' to random people in nicely/scarily decorated houses. For that event, I was a pirate, Nat the HarryPotter (female version) + phaedophile, Andrea the Sorcerer Apprentice and Debra the Ballerina. Take out the parts with all the crap going on plus the ants that attacked me, this years' the best Halloween yet? We got SugarDaddy candies :)
